Romancing the Stone
This hilarious, high-spirited comedy-adventure involves a shy romance novelist, Joan Wilder, who finds herself thrust into a dangerous mission in the treacherous jungles of South America. Determined to find her kidnapped sister, Joan teams up with a rugged rogue named Jack Colton who resembles the fictional hero of her best-selling novels. Together they become entangled in a hair-raising journey loaded with twists and turns, death-defying stunts, ancient treasures, irascible hoodlums... and, of course, a little romance.
