An arctic outflow hit Haida Gwaii and temperatures dropped to -16C. Brrrr. Pipes froze for everyone living off grid and not. Masa was without water until temperatures rose again.

It was so cold that Masa's "throne" in the outhouse was frosted over several times. Being creative and resourceful, Masa created a seat cover to solve the "issue" of a cold seat. Perhaps he can patent this item?

Banti continues to be a warm comfort for Masa while Chris and Elin are away and ventured out skating while Masa lived out one of his dreams to go pond skating.

This week Masa also received an unexpected surprise - thanks to his friend Andrew who could no longer hear Masa's whining for sushi and did something about it.
